Matthew 24: 3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall all these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world?
The Lord had just gone out of the temple when his followers called his attention to the beauty of the temple. But he made them to understand that that wasn’t an issue because the building would be pulled down. He was more concerned about them developing personal relationship with God before his second coming. And they asked him, “Lord, what shall be the signs of the end time?”
What they got as response from him were COMMANDMENTS or instructions. Hidden in those COMMANDMENTS are the signs.
